The products combine EO based stratification and in-situ data from sample based national forest inventories. One product provides statistics on the present status while the second product provides statistics on the change of the carbon stocks. For all statistical results the sampling error and a error budged is provided, that accounts for all sources of errors.
These products enable highest cost efficiency. Two opportunities results:
- Minimisation of cost to achieve a certain level of accuracy
- Maximisation of information under a given budget.
